World Health Summit 2025 in Berlin

“At this year’s World Health Summit in Berlin, global leaders, experts and practitioners came together to explore one central question:
how can we build more equitable, resilient and people-centred health systems in a fragmented world?

Across the discussions, one idea stood out:

Health is not a cost – it is capital.

Africa’s Green Book on Health Financing and the strong call for co-investment and domestic resource mobilisation reflected a new ambition for health sovereignty and sustainable development.
Participants also highlighted the importance of public financial management, innovative financing models, and public-private partnerships to make essential commodities affordable and available.

The Summit further underscored the need for digital transformation – from integrated surveillance and forecasting to data-driven impact measurement – as well as stronger commitment to mental health and gender equity as key pillars of global health progress.

At Health Focus, we share this vision.
We are committed to strengthening national health systems, empowering local governments and communities, and promoting inclusive, climate-resilient and sustainable solutions for better health for all.
