Retour sur la participation de l’équipe Health Focus aux ateliers de planification des activités de l’année 2025

Dans le cadre d’une mission de suivi technique au Cameroun. L’équipe du siège à eu la possible de rencontrer l’ensemble des experts du Consortium GOPA/Health Focus œuvrant pour la GIZ dans le cadre du Projet Promotion d’Actions pour un Système de Santé Résilient (ProPASSaR II). Cette mission a permis à l’ensemble de l’équipe du consortium de faire connaissance, de revoir ensemble le Plan de travail annuel prévisionnel et rencontrer les différentes parties prenantes du projet au côté de la GIZ.

L’équipe GOPA/HF au Cameroun, avec l’équipe de backstopping a participé aux ateliers nationaux qui concernent : la planification de l’année 2025 du Pro-PASSAR II avec le niveau central, la tenue des assises du Comité de coordination et de suivi du Chèque Santé, en présence également de l’AFD et de la KfW. L’occasion a été donnée à l’équipe de faire la visite de certaines Formations Sanitaires (FOSA) urbaines et Rurales, de s’entretenir avec les responsables des Délégation Régionale de Santé Publique (DRSP), Equipe cadre de District et Fonds Régionaux de Promotion de la Sante (FRPS) à Ebolowa dans la Région du Sud et à Bertoua et Abong Mbang dans la Région de l’Est.

Une attention particulière a été mise sur la qualité des services, l’accès des soins maternelles et infantile à travers la mise en place d’un mécanisme de financement des services, le « Chèque Santé ». Celui-ci constitue une première étape dans vers une assurance maladie universelle. Un dernier élément majeur du projet est le développement d’une solution digital qui facilite la facturation des services fournis par les Formations Sanitaires

Pro-PASSaR II Project: Feedback on the participation of the Health Focus team in the 2025 activities planning workshops

As part of a technical backstopping mission in Cameroon. The head office team had the opportunity to meet all the experts of the GOPA/Health Focus Consortium working for GIZ as part of the Project for the Promotion of Actions for a Resilient Health System (ProPASSaR II). This mission enabled the entire consortium team to get to know each other, to review the provisional annual work plan together and to meet the various project stakeholders alongside GIZ.

The GOPA/HF team in Cameroon, together with the backstopping team, participated in national workshops concerning: the Pro-PASSAR II 2025 planning with the central level, the holding of the meetings of the Health Voucher Coordination and Monitoring Committee, also in the presence of AFD and KfW. The team was given the opportunity to visit some urban and rural health facilities (FOSA) and to talk to the heads of the Regional Public Health Delegation (DRSP), District Management Team and Regional Health Promotion Fund (FRPS) in Ebolowa in the Southern Region and in Bertoua and Abong Mbang in the Eastern Region.

Particular attention has been paid to the quality of services and access to maternal and childcare through the introduction of a service financing mechanism, the “Health Voucher”. This is a first step towards universal health insurance. A final major element of the project is the development of a digital solution to facilitate the invoicing of services provided by the Health Facilities to the FRPS.
