ECOWAS ONE HEALTH LEADERSHIP COURSE EPIDEMIC and PANDEMIC PREPAREDNESS and RESPONSE

The University of Ghana and Institut Régional de Santé Publique in Benin recently hosted training workshops for faculty members of the ECOWAS One Health Leadership Training Course. This flagship course spans two weeks and targets professionals from member states actively engaged in pandemic prevention and response efforts within the ECOWAS region. The course is a highly interactive experience that aims to bolster the One Health agenda in the region and foster transnational professional networks. This course was thoughtfully designed with support from experts at Health Focus GmbH and the Institute of Global Health at the University of Heidelberg, as part of the GIZ Regional Programme Support to Pandemic Prevention in ECOWAS (RPPP2) and in close collaboration with WAHO and the RAHC.
