Technical Assistance (Organisational Development) to the Global Fund CCM Nigeria

Objectives:

Identification of the results expected from the usage of funds during the first two quarters of program implementation, recognizing that for some countries these results will focus on the process of completing program planning and establishing or scaling up implementation structures

Content:

The CCM was responsible for the coordination and implementation of Nigeria’s Country Proposal to the Global Fund to fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria. The CCM needed technical support to enable it finalise the preliminary working steps towards the first disbursement of funds for the second set of approved projects by the GFATM.

  • Draft work plans and preliminary budgets by major component for full two years of approved programme;
  • Proposed milestones to monitor results for at least the first six months of the programme, with expected expenditures;
  • Articulation of milestones and elaboration of work plans and implementation strategies for the two approved proposals and the secretary of the CCM secretariat;
  • Consultation with other relevant partner-institutions in-country (e.g. WHO. UNAIDS, DFID, MoH, NGOs, etc.).
