Help for little Angie

Angie from Congo is eight years old, but she suffers already from a severe acute leukaemia, a cancer affecting the blood system. Her chances to survive this disease in Kinshasa were zero. Therefore Health Focus organised her treatment in Germany. “Ein Herz für Kinder”, “Aktion Kindertraum” and “Krebskranke Kinder in Not” agreed to take over part of the immense treatment costs. Since July Angie is treated at the University Hospital of Rostock. The intensive chemotherapy phase was a great success. Her condition is stabilising, but she has still a long way to go. Her mother and her little sister Alicia are with her in Germany and try to adapt to their new home and environment in Rostock. The “Verein zur Förderung krebskranker Kinder” provides the little family with a place to live in Rostock and helps with Visa and many of the day-to-day problems Angie´s mother is facing now. Unfortunately not all the treatment cost are covered yet and the family needs a small subsidy to cover daily expenses and pay for kindergarden fees for Alicia. If you want to help our three guests from Congo, please donate to the “Verein für krebskranke Kinder in Rostock”.
