Current job opportunities:
- Hospital Manager: Experienced French-speaking hospital manager/administrator (minimum 5 – 10 years) to undertake a situation analysis of rural hospital in West-African state, hospital reorganisation planning including development of operating objectives and budgets, and creation of an overall system for efficient delivery of medical services, change management and day-to-day operation of hospital, skills transfer to deputy hospital manager.
- Health financing expert: Experienced English and French speaking health financing expert with at least 5 years working experience in developing countries, excellent understanding of health system strengthening approaches, excellent leadership and communication skills, experience with team oriented working approaches, experience with donor coordination and alignment processes.
- Short-term and long-term Health Economists/Team Leaders with experience in performance-based financing and/or voucher systems.
- Short-term Experts with experience in Global Fund grant management, dashboard oversight tool, M&E and CCM strengthening.
- Short-term Experts with experience in organizational development (strategic management & leadership, human resources management, finances/administration, procurement/tendering, and M&E systems).
Internships:
Health Focus is open to receiveing international, flexible and committed interns. We expect an involvement of at least 3 months. You should have at least a bachelor degree in a relevent field (i.e. business, health, international development) and should posess proficient English and German language skills.
